Flora & Feather - Enamel Pins & Bookcharms - Birds, Flowers, and Dragons!

Just a few hours left and - oh my goodness - I woke up this morning to see we have flown through almost the entire Barn Owl & Pear Blossom set!! 😄 I can't believe it lol I was hoping we might unlock a few but now we are just a breath away from unlocking the Owl Dragon bookcharms and completing the whole set.



And so, since we still have 5 hours left and we have gone through so many stretch goals so fast, I am putting up the last painting I have in the series 💙 Little Blue Heron & Indigo!!

I honestly have no idea how far we can get with these last few goals - but I figure lets add it and see 😅 I'm still so shocked and amazed at how far we've come and so happy to be able to create all these new designs for you guys!

And, you may have noticed that the stretch goals have become words instead of pictures 😅 lol we have torn through far more designs than I could ever possibly draw that fast lol. I truly had no idea this series would do so well or come this far.

But no worries - I will take my time to craft these last designs properly and post updates in the coming days and weeks with new design reveals - and same for the final design, polished design for each that has been revealed once I have time to slow down a little and make sure each one is just right. A lot of these, I drew as fast as I could in a day - so while they are a good representation of what they will be like - I would like to go over each one properly and make it as nice as possible.

And of course - all the designs will be completely finished for you to look through before I send out the pledge manager for you to choose your favorites from.

And as a quick recap for those just catching up now - we've unlocked 21 different designs spanning 7 different sets!!



So many I couldn't even keep up with making the designs fast enough - so there are several more designs than this unlocked but not ready to share yet 😅

And we have unlocked the deluxe display cards for each pin set that will be a 5x7 gold foil card to display all 3 matching pins!

Aaand we unlocked the Metal Variants - so now each set will come in two different metal colors. All sets will come in gold metal + another metal color (like silver or black) for you to choose your favorite from!


There are just 4 hours left now - so lets see how far we can get into these last few stretch goals! 💙

Oh my goodness - we hit 20k!! I wasn't sure we would get so far and then all of a sudden here we are lol and still going with over half a day left!

We've unlocked the bonus stretch goal of metal variants on each set! This means all the sets will now come in two different colors for the metals for you to choose from.

Every set will be available in gold metal + another metal color. For example, the Crested Crane & Protea will be available in gold or silver metal - and the quetzals will likely be available in gold or black metal. :) I will pick a metal for each set that I think best complements the colors of the set.



And - we've unlocked both the pin & bookcharm for the Barn Owl & Pear Blossom set! We are already chipping away at the barn owl as well - which I know a lot of people are hoping for - and I think we have a good shot at getting it unlocked before the end! :) fingers crossed!

And I also added new pledge levels for those who want all 6 unlocked sets - one for pins, one for bookcharms, and one for both. So if you want to get the whole series - there are some special tiers just for that! 

Goodness - we've come so far today!! Thank you again everyone <3 I am so overwhelmed and excited by how much love everyone has shown this project. And I can't wait to send you all beautiful shinys ✨

Aaaah I am so happy to say - we have unlocked the entire set for the Cattails & Crested Grebe set!! I am hard at work on a sketch for the dragon to give you guys a preview of what it will look like - but you guys are definitely running ahead faster than I can draw lol - which is wonderful <3 I will catch up lol


And we are already about halfway to unlocking the first design in the new set - the pear blossom! I am really excited to see how far we can get with this new set!

Aaand - I may be a crazy lady - but I decided to add a bonus stretch goal at 20k!

If we hit 20k (which I really think we have a great shot at) I am going to add a second metal color option for each set!



With this series, it was so hard to make up my mind about what color metal I wanted them to have. I love the look of gold with all of these - and in general on pins. It's just so classy and classic! But with each set, I've also thought there was another color that could look pretty - like silver on the crested crane set - or metallic black on the quetzal set. 

So I decided, why choose?! lol If we hit 20k - each set will come in two color options for the metal. All the sets will come in gold and one other metal color that I think complements the colors of the set :) 

I don't normally share my works-in-progress as I am always so nervous about how messy and not pretty they look lol 

But I know a lot of people really love seeing them - seeing behind the scenes how the artist is designing and creating their work. 

And since each of these designs usually takes me about 8-10 hours to complete, I am pretty sure I cannot keep up with how fast they are unlocking with the finished design. So I thought this would be a fun way to show you guys what the pins and charms will look like by sharing these work-in-progress sketches as I am refining the design in my mind and on paper. 

This is my plan for the Crested Grebe! :) I think this set is going to be very elegant and classy. I love the shapes of the sharp and curvy grebes and how it is mirrored by the sharp points and graceful curves of the cattails.

Ok, back to sketching for me! 😅 But I hope you guys enjoy seeing these little peeks I usually keep hidden away lol 

We are down to the final day! JJust a little over 24 hours to go and we have unlocked so many new designs! There are now 5 (almost 6) complete sets unlocked!!



Goodness, we are flying past all these stretch goals!! After posting the Cattails last night - we've unlocked:

 
I'm painting these as fast as I can lol but you guys have left me in the dust and leaves lol. But no worries - I will keep working to catch up and have all these designs revealed as fast as I can. And of course - all the finished & polished designs will be up long before the pledge manager goes up. So you will be able to see everything in its final form before choosing your favorites for your rewards :)

And with everything going so fast - we only have one tiny stretch goal left for the Cattails & Grebes trio to be complete!

Aaaand maybe I'm a little crazy - but we're going so fast - so I decided to keep forging ahead and added the next painting to transform into pins and charms: Pear Blossom & Barn Owl!



I've been so amazed at how fast we've picked up speed the last few days, that I don't know what to expect with these - but I decided, as long as we are still moving forward, I will keep working on transforming more of the series 😅😅😅 I love a challenge!
